Getting Started
The #1 rule: Pick ONE use case and start there. Do not try to do everything at once.
- Dubb AI (ai.dubb.com) is a separate product from dubb.com - two distinct sign-ins, two separate dashboards. Do not confuse them.
- Sign up at ai.dubb.com and connect your Slack workspace. Slack is your operating environment.
- A free Slack account is sufficient. Only upgrade Slack if you need long-term message history retention.
- Connect integrations immediately: Gmail or Outlook, CRM, Google Calendar, Google Sheets and Docs. The more connected, the more powerful.
- Connect your dubb.com account in Dubb AI Settings to unlock video activity data for automated follow-up.
- Go to ai.dubb.com/skills and turn on Skills for your industry before your first task.
- Recommended first use cases: (1) Lead generation by ICP (2) Scan email for missed sales opportunities (3) Automate forgotten follow-ups (4) Send personalized Dubb video emails
Slack Workspace Organization
Treat each Slack channel as a separate universe for one area of your business. This preserves AI memory, reduces token costs, and keeps workflows mentally organized.
- Create a dedicated channel for each workflow: lead-gen, email-outreach, crm-updates, follow-ups, market-research, prospecting, etc.
- New channel = completely new topic. New thread = same topic, new subtask within that area.
- Always start a NEW thread for each new task. Never re-open old threads - they drag in prior context and burn credits.
- One task per thread. Isolated tasks = faster execution, lower cost, cleaner results.
- Use @DubbAI inside any channel to assign a task directly.
Efficiency and Credit Management
AI memory is not free. Every token costs credits. Keep conversations lean, targeted, and purposeful.
- Think small, then scale. Start with 3 leads not 1,000, or 2 days of email not 1 year. Validate first, then scale.
